Highlights of the major decisions taken at the State Executive Council meeting held today Monday 19th August, 2024 chaired by His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Jigawa State Malam Umar A. Namadi FCA. 

The Council has approved:

• In line with His Excellency, 12-Point Agenda for Greater Jigawa, the establishment of a Six Member Committee to come up with a comprehensive proposal forimplementation framework on Mass Mobilization for Social Orientation, Crusade Against Drug Abuse and Promoting Local Governance through Community Participation for Jigawa State. The committee comprised of:

I. Hon. Commissioner of Information – Chairman

II. Hon. Commissioner of Women Affairs – Member

III. Hon. Commissioner of Local Govt. – Member

IV. DG Economic & Youth Employment – Member

V. Special Adviser Security Matters – Member

VI. Principal Private Secretary – Secretary
