Malam Umar Namadi today took the oath of office as the fifth democratically-elected Governor of Jigawa State. His Deputy, Alhaji Aminu Usman Gumel also took the oath.
They were sworn-in by the State Chief Judge, Justice Umar Sadiq Maigari at the Aminu Kano Triangle in Dutse metropolis.
Governor Umar Namadi who delivered an inaugural speech immediately after being sworn-in, pledged to sustain the legacies of the immediate past administration.
