The Jigawa State Head of the Civil Service, Alhaji Muhammad K. Dagaceri and Chairman Technical Committee for Workers Agricultural Loan, revealed that the Programme initiated by Governor Malam Umar A. Namadi’s Administration will boost Agriculture and improve food security in the State.
Alhaji Muhammad K. Dagaceri stated this while declaring open a one day sensitization and training of Monitors for Workers Agricultural Loan held at Sir, Ahmadu Bello Hall.
He revealed that the initiative will enhance Civil Servants welfare and well-being for high impact performance.
The Head of Service explained that the programme will offer Civil Servants a supplementary income window and contributes to the development of various sectors of the economy, thereby increasing the State’s GDP.
The State Auditor General, (Dr.) Garba Muhammad Dutse who is also a member of the Technical Committee, gave an overview of the programme and led the sensitization training and have a direct interactives with the participants about their roles and responsibilities during the exercise.
The Participants (Monitors) ere drawn from Civil Society Organizations, Labour Unions and from office of the Head of the Civil Service.
