Today, Governor Namadi signed the 2024 Appropriation Bill of 298.14bn into law at the council chambers, following its successful passage by the Jigawa State House of Assembly.
The historic event was graced by the distinguished presence of key stakeholders, including the Speaker of the Jigawa State House of Assembly, Deputy Speaker, Secretary to the State Government, members of the Executive Council, honorable members of the State House of Assembly, ALGON Chairman, local government council chairmen, Special Advisers, Senior Special Assistants, Special Assistants, and representatives from various security agencies and traditional rulers.
The signing ceremony marks a significant milestone in the state’s commitment to transparent governance and effective fiscal management. The collaborative efforts of the legislative and executive branches underscore the dedication to advancing the welfare and development of the people of Jigawa State.
Governor Namadi expressed gratitude to all stakeholders for their unwavering support and emphasized the government’s determination to judiciously implement the budget for the overall benefit of the citizens.
