The Emir of Hadejia, Alhaji Adamu Abubakar Maje has enjoined traditional rulers in his Emirate to be vigilant and security conscious for the maintenance of peace and stability in the State.
Alhaji Adamu Abubakar Maje who is also the Chairman of Council of Chiefs, made the plea while turbanning four new Village Heads in his Emirate.
Represented by the Galadima of Hadejia, Alhaji Usman Abdul’aziz, the Emir said Ward and Village Heads are community leaders that are very close to the people and are playing great roles toward maintaining peace and stability among rural populace.
He charged them to be good ambassadors while implementing government policies and programmes on education, health, open defecation and Covid19 protocols among their people.
