NIPR Jigawa Chapter Celebrates Governor Namadi’s Achievements and Addresses Local Concerns

The Nigeria Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) Jigawa State Chapter commends Governor Mallam Umar Namadi for his outstanding performance toward food security in Jigawa State and Nigeria, earning him a place among the top five most performing governors and the prestigious Diamond Award from the Nigeria Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) National Headquarters in Abuja.

Governor Namadi has also been conferred as Patron of the Institute in Jigawa State, with an Investiture ceremony forthcoming.

The Chapter acknowledges tremendous efforts of Commissioner Information, Youths, Sports and Culture, Sagir Musa Ahmad for organizing and coordinating a successful press conference, inviting the State commissioners, to highlight their projects over the past year, leading to Governor Namadi’s national recognition.

Similarly, the National Executive Council of NIPR, led by President Dr. Ike Neliaku, introduced a Reputation Perception Index (RPI) project to Governor Namadi aimed at enhancing positive relationship between state governors and their people.

In addition, the Chapter expresses concern over the recent farmers and herders clashes in Baranda of Dutse Local Government Area, which require RPI intervention for lasting solution.

In view of that, the Chapter Chairman, Basheer Yusha’u affirmed that, NIPR as a team of professional crisis managers, it is ready to support the Government in managing such crises for the benefit of the people of Jigawa State.
