A. Construction of AFRIDEV Hand Pump Boreholes

  • Amount Approved: ₦241,797,600.00

  • Scope: Construction of 90 AFRIDEV Hand Pump Boreholes in selected communities across the 27 Local Government Areas.

  • Objective: To provide clean and safe drinking water, enhancing public health and improving quality of life.

B. Rehabilitation of Faulty Water Facilities

  • Amount Approved: ₦241,039,144.50

  • Scope: Rehabilitation of faulty water facilities across the state.

  • Objective: To ensure reliable access to potable water, support sustainable water management, and promote equitable development.

Programme: Human Capital Opportunities for Prosperity & Equity (HOPE)
Support: World Bank Assisted
Goal: To improve governance in education and health sectors in Jigawa State.
