Jigawa State Government has opened tender for the construction of 4.3km road network ( Asphalt Overlay ) at Gagarawa Industrial Layout Phase I.
Declaring the bid opened, the Chairman Ministerial Tender Committee of the Ministry of Commerce and Industries, who is also the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Muhammad Bello Dutse said the project is in line with the State Government’s commitment to boost transportation sector.
He said the bidding was in conformity with the State Government’s policy of awarding contract.
He called on the successful contractor to ensure speedy completion of the project within the stipulated period contained in the contractual agreement.
Earlier in his remarks, the representative of the Due Process and Project Monitoring Bureau, Engineer Aminu Lawan, said the process of selecting the contractor would be transparent, fair and just.
Responding on behalf of the bidders, the Project Manager, Alren Construction Company Limited, Engineer Safi Alhalabi described the exercise as hitch free and expressed satisfaction with the bid opening process.
