Governor Badaru Approves Appointment of Kamilu A. Musa as Acting Executive Secretary Jigawa Pension Board.

Governor Muhammad Badaru Abubakar has approved the appointment of Alhaji Kamilu Aliyu Musa  as the Acting Executive Secretary, Jigawa State and Local Governments Contributory Pension Scheme Board.

This was contained in a statement signed by the State Head of the Civil Service, Alhaji Hussaini Ali Kila.

A professional accountant, until his appointment, Alhaji Kamilu Aliyu Musa was the Deputy Director Accounts, Jigawa State and Local Governments Contributory Pension Scheme Board.

The statement explained that the appointment of the new Executive Secretary is purely on merit, competency and personal integrity. The appointment is with immediate effect.

It could be recalled that Governor Muhammad Badaru Abubakar has relieved Honorable Hashim Ahmad Fagam of his appointment as the Executive Secretary, Jigawa State and Local Governments Contributory Pension Scheme Board with immediate effect.

Meanwhile the Acting Executive Secretary, Kamilu Aliyu Musa has assumed duty as new Executive Secretary, Jigawa (State and Local Governments) Contributory Pension Scheme Board, while handing over to the new Executive Secretary, Honorable Hashim Ahmad Fagam, said the Jigawa State and Local Governments Contributory Pension Scheme Board has huge responsibilities and needs to ensure a sustainable Contributory Pension Scheme that would guarantee prompt payment of retired Civil Servants benefits in the State.

He thanked Governor Muhammad Badaru Abubakar for giving him the opportunity to serve his State and reiterated his total loyalty to the Governor at all times.

While commending the staff of the Board for their support, Fagam said: “I wish to thank all of you for helping me to do my work”.

On his part, the new Executive Secretary, Alhaji Kamilu Aliyu Musa, said the priority of the Scheme under his leadership will be to ensure the sustainability of the Scheme.

He solicited the support and cooperation of the staff to achieve the desired objectives.
