In line with its commitment to providing affordable houses to the members of the Public for purchase or rent across the state.

The Jigawa State Government, through the State Housing Authority had built  blocks of 4 housing units of 2- bedrooms semi-detached at ten

selected Local Government Areas in the three senatorial zones.

The Local Government Areas were; North Central: Dutse, Birnin-Kudu and Jahun, North East: Hadejia, Malam-Madori and Birniwa, North West: Gumel, Ringim, Babura and Kazaure.

The Housing Authority had allocated the houses to forty staff of the state, local government and education authorities respectively.

The General Manager of the State Housing Authority, Alhaji Babangida Abubakar Sadeeq said the allocation of the houses was sequel to the authority’s mission as conferred to it by the state government to build more houses for both civil servants and the general public for outright purchase based on the scheme or type of the houses.

The allocated houses are to be paid on installment basis through direct deduction from the monthly salaries of the beneficiaries.
