SEMA DONATES RELIEF MATERIALS TO VICTIMS OF FIRE DISASTER

The Jigawa State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) has distributed relief materials to fire disaster victims at Barebari town of Ringim local government area.

Distributing the relief materials to the victims, which included 30 bags of guinea corn, five bags of maize, and 100No buckets, ten cartons of soap and detergents, 140 blankets, 60No mattresses, 50No mats and 100No of mosquito nets, the Executive Secretary of the Agency, Alhaji Yusuf Sani Babura pledged to provide more assistance to the victims.

Earlier speaking the Chairman Ringim Local Government Area, Abdulrashid Illa Ringim said the incident was a trial from God and called on the victims to accept it with good faith.

Over forty houses including animals and foodstuffs were burnt down.
