NITDA to Establish Centres in Jigawa

The National information Technology Development Agency is set to establish four Digital job creation centres and provide E-learning facilities in Jigawa state.
A statement from the Director General of the agency Dr Isah Ali Ibrahim Pantami said the job creation centres and the e-learning facilities were to be established at Federal University Dutse, Hadejia Ina Mafita Initiative, science secondary school Kafin Hausa and Senior Secondary school Maigatari.
According to the statement, the Agency appreciates the accomplishments of Jigawa state Government in human capital development, e-government initiative and open government partnership.
The Director General further said, the Agency was willing to support the state government with initiatives and interventions programs on capacity building for women in ICT in Dutse, establishment of a virtual library at the Binyaminu usman Polytechnic, Hadejia and the NIDTA startup in Dutse.
