JIGAWA OPENS BID FOR FURNISHING OF GOVERNOR’S LODGE KADUNA

The Jigawa State Government has opened tender for the Construction of Mosque, Security rooms and Furnishing of Governor’s Lodge Kaduna.

Declaring the bid open, the Chairman tender committee, who is also the Permanent Secretary, Administration and Finance, SSG’s office, Alhaji Abdullahi Sa’idu, said 4 companies were competing for the projects.

Alhaji Abdullahi Sa’idu gave the assurance that due process would be followed in awarding the contracts, adding that the Technical Evaluation Committee for the bidding would be fair.

He said the bidding was in conformity with the State Government’s policy of awarding contract.

On his part, the representative of the Due Process and Project Monitoring Bureau, QS Ghali Mu’azu, said the process of selecting the contractors would be transparent, fair and just.

He called on the successful contractor to ensure speedy completion of the projects within the stipulated period contained in the contractual agreement.

Commenting on behalf of the bidders, the representative of Spacegrave Investment Ltd, Haruna Sabo, expressed satisfaction with the process of the bid opening.

He assured the Government of quality work if given the job.
