Jigawa State Government has set up a committee to looks into the complaints of the unverified workers in the State.
This was contained in a Statement signed by the State Head of the Civil Service, Alhaji Muhammad K. Dagaceri.
The Head of Service, said any worker with cogent reasons for not participating in the verification exercise and felt adversely affected is directed to contact the Committee at the office of the Head of the Civil Service for verification.
He explained that the verification of the State workforce was meant to inject sanity into the system and engender credibility in the State payrolls and not to create unnecessary sufferings to the workers.
โInfact the exercise was not meant to downsize the workforce or witch-hunt any Civil Servants but to maintain up- to- date payroll systemโ the HOS said.
It further stated that, the present administration has no intention to disengage any worker but instead recruited more workers and makes a significant move to covert J-Teach and J-Health workers into Permanent and Pensionable positions, in addition to filling other gaps in the Service.
