Strengthening Security and Crime Prevention:
- To combat crimes and improve security patrols across the state, the Council approved ₦413,203,125.00 for procuring:
- 4 foreign-used Toyota Hilux vehicles.
- 50 brand-new Boxer Bajaj motorcycles.

Payment of Retirement Benefits:
- As part of the administration’s commitment to improving civil servant welfare, the Council approved ₦1,543,912,178.17 for outstanding retirement benefits of Jigawa State Government pensioners.
- The intervention, presented by the Office of the Head of Service, aims at ensuring timely payment and reducing pensioner hardship.

Procurement of Official Vehicles:
- To enhance government operations, the Council approved ₦304,000,000.00 for the procurement of 7 official vehicles, including:
- 2 new Toyota Hilux vehicles.
- 4 Toyota Corolla 2006 models.
- 1 Toyota Corolla 2016 model.
These vehicles will support the Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning in effective project monitoring and evaluation.

Acquisition of KEDCO Shares:
- In line with the administration’s 12-Point Agenda to ensure electricity supply in urban and rural areas, the Council approved ₦1,000,000,000 for:
- The State Government’s share in KEDCO (Kano Electricity Distribution Company).
- Consolidation of Jigawa State’s shareholding to 10%.
This initiative aims to ensure constant electricity supply by 2028, boosting economic activities across the state.

- Established a 9-member committee, chaired by the Honorable Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning, to develop short, medium, and long-term implementation plans.

Street Light Projects:
- To enhance semi-urban areas, the Council approved ₦595,943,149.94 for the supply and installation of integrated stand-alone solar-powered streetlights.
