🚔 1. Enhancing Security Operations – Purchase of Operational Vehicles and Motorcycles

  • Approved Amount: ₦827,080,000.00

    • 10 Toyota Hilux Vehicles (2020 Model): ₦760,080,000.00

    • 50 Hunter Brand Motorcycles: ₦67,000,000.00

  • Purpose: To enhance the operational efficiency of security agencies across Jigawa State.

  • Objective:

    • Strengthen logistics and mobility for security personnel

    • Improve surveillance and rapid response capability

    • Enhance security coverage in rural and hard-to-reach areas

Impact:
This approval demonstrates the administration’s continued commitment to safeguarding lives and property, maintaining peace and order, and creating an environment conducive for investment and socio-economic growth.


🏫 2. Educational Transformation – Renovation, Construction & Equipping of Technical and Vocational Schools

  • Approved Amount: ₦14,227,081,832.15

  • Purpose: Comprehensive renovation, construction, and equipment supply for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutions across the state.

  • Scope of Work:

    • Renovation of classrooms, workshops, auditoriums, hostels, and health centres

    • Construction of new infrastructure where required

    • Supply of modern training tools and equipment

  1. Dutse Model School

  2. Senior Science Secondary School, Kafin Hausa

  3. Bamaina Academy

  4. Jigawa College of Remedial and Advanced Studies (JICORAS)

  5. Dutse Polytechnic

  6. Bilyaminu Usman Polytechnic, Hadejia

  7. Jigawa State Polytechnic of Information and Communication Technology, Kazaure

  8. Centre for Vocational and Technical Education, Garki

Objectives:

  • Revitalize technical and vocational institutions to meet modern educational standards

  • Equip students with practical, 21st-century skills

  • Tackle youth unemployment through skills acquisition and innovation

  • Strengthen the 12-Point Agenda focus on human capital development and economic diversification

Impact:
This massive investment reaffirms the administration’s vision for sustainable development, innovation, and job creation through the promotion of technical and vocational education.


🕌 3. Strengthening Tsangaya Education – Construction of Wall Fencing, Kitchen & Toilets

  • Approved Amount: ₦371,343,187.99

  • Scope: Construction of perimeter fences, kitchen/dining facilities, and pit-latrine toilets at three (3) Mega Tsangaya Schools in:

    • Dutse

    • Kafin Hausa

    • Ringim

Additional Provision:

  • 30% mobilization fund released for immediate project commencement.

Objectives:

  • Provide a safe and secure learning environment for pupils and teachers

  • Improve hygiene, nutrition, and overall wellbeing of learners

  • Support ongoing reforms to integrate Islamic and Western education under the state’s human capital development agenda

Impact:
This project underscores the Namadi administration’s dedication to inclusive and holistic education, ensuring that all children—especially those in Tsangaya schools—learn in dignity, safety, and good health.


🏥 4. Healthcare Development – Hospital Renovation, Equipment Supply & Maternal/Child Health Interventions

  • Approved Amount: ₦3,672,235,180.74

  • Purpose: Strengthen healthcare delivery and maternal-child health services across the state.

  • Scope of Work:

    • Supply of hospital equipment to 30 Primary Health Care (PHC) facilities

    • Renovation and upgrade of Dutse General Hospital

    • Procurement of Free Delivery Packs (Mama Kits) for pregnant women under the Safe Motherhood Initiative

    • Procurement of Ready-to-Use Therapeutic Food (RUTF) for malnourished children under five years

Objectives:

  • Improve healthcare infrastructure and service delivery

  • Reduce maternal and child mortality rates

  • Strengthen Jigawa’s health system under the 12-Point Agenda for Greater Jigawa

Impact:
This intervention reflects the administration’s commitment to universal health coverage, improved maternal and child care, and equitable access to quality healthcare across all communities in the state.
