Namadi has approved the appointment of Adamu Sabo as the new Managing Director, Jigawa State Environmental Protection Agency (JISEPA).<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This was contained in a statement signed by the Secretary to the Government of Jigawa State, Malam Bala Ibrahim.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The statement said the appointment of the new Managing Director followed the retirement of the former Managing Director, Engr. Ahmed Lawal from service on 24th December, 2023.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A sanitarian, until his appointment, Adamu Sabo, is the Director Environmental Health and is also currently running the affairs of the Agency in acting capacity.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Malam Bala Ibrahim explained that the appointment of the appointee is based on merit, competence and personal integrity.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Adamu Sabo joined the State Civil Service in 1998 as an Environmental Health Officer. He seconded to UNICEF\/deloitte as UNICEF WASH Consultant from 2017 to 2022.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The new Managing Director, is a graduate of the prestigious Bayero University, Kano.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He obtained a Masters Degree in Environmental Management (HEM) from the same University.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8221; I urge the new Managing Director to use his experience and work diligently for sound execution of this administration\u2019s policies and programmes&#8221; the SSG said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The appointment takes immediate effect.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ismaila Ibrahim Dutse<br \/>\nPublic Relations Officer<br \/>\nOffice of the Secretary to the Government of Jigawa State<br \/>\nJanuary 23rd 2024<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Governor Malam Umar A.
