Over eight thousand teachers were promoted in the last two and half years by the State universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB).<\/p>\n
Speaking in a Radio Jigawa phone in program, the Executive Chairman of the board Alhaji Salisu Zakar Hadejia stated that another batch of eight thousand teachers were also trained in various fields while six hundred and seventy Head teacher received similar trainings.
\nAlhaji Salisu Zakar explained that the state has constructed one hundred and thirty three new primary schools in addition to one hundred and thirteen junior secondary schools with the provision of about five hundred thousand schools furniture all the primary and junior secondary schools across the state pointing out that schools have now been decongested as a result of the provision of more than twenty thousand class rooms.
\nAlhaji Salisu Zakar charged teachers in the state to redouble their efforts by reciprocating government\u2019s gesture as no teacher is being owed and commended traditional rulers for their continued support to achieve the desired objectives.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
