Highlights of the major decisions reached at the State Executive Council Meeting chaired by His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Jigawa State, Malam Umar A. Namadi, FCA.<\/strong><\/p>\n

1. Participation in Green Nigeria Challenge<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

The State Executive Council approved the participation of the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change in the Green Nigeria Challenge \u2013 Jigawa State Edition<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

This initiative is aimed at:<\/p>\n

  • Combating desertification<\/li>\n
  • Enhancing biodiversity<\/li>\n
  • Encouraging community participation in environmental conservation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    2. Additional Works for Digital Oxygen and Cryogenic Plant Project (Dutse)<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

    The Council approved additional works for the ongoing Cryogenic Oxygen Plant Project in Dutse<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    • Supply of Digital Oxygen and Nitrogen Cylinders<\/li>\n
    • Provision of Electric Vehicles for operations and distribution<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      • Initial Contract Sum: \u20a62,202,161,079.93<\/strong><\/li>\n

          • Benefiting 281 Primary Health Care (PHC) facilities<\/strong> across the 27 LGAs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                • 650 CHIPS Agents<\/li>\n
