{"id":1225,"date":"2025-01-22T07:05:52","date_gmt":"2025-01-22T07:05:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jigawastate.gov.ng\/news\/?p=1225"},"modified":"2025-01-22T07:05:52","modified_gmt":"2025-01-22T07:05:52","slug":"summary-of-resolution-of-the-state-executive-council-held-on-tuesday-21st-january-2025","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jigawastate.gov.ng\/news\/2025\/01\/22\/summary-of-resolution-of-the-state-executive-council-held-on-tuesday-21st-january-2025\/","title":{"rendered":"SUMMARY\u00a0OF\u00a0RESOLUTION\u00a0OF\u00a0THE\u00a0STATE\u00a0EXECUTIVE\u00a0COUNCIL HELD ON TUESDAY 21ST\u00a0JANUARY, 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Highlights of the major decisions reached at the State Executive Council meeting held on Tuesday 21<sup>ST<\/sup> January, 2025 chaired by His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Jigawa State\u00a0<strong><em>Malam<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>Umar<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>A.<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>Namadi<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>FCA<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">In line with present administration effort to strengthen Health Insurance Scheme in the State through <strong><em>Jigawa<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>State<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>Contributory <\/em><\/strong><strong><em>Health Management Agency (JICHMA), <\/em><\/strong>the Council has approved the inclusion of all political office holders into the scheme as provided by the JICHMA law\u00a0\u00a002 -2024 as amended with a view to improve the universal health coverage in the state and Nigeria at large as presented by the Secretary to the State Government.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">The State Executive Council has approved the request of Jigawa State Pilgrims Board of <strong><em>Three<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>Billion,<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>Three<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>Hundred<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>and<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>Sixty Million Naira (N3,350,000,000.00) <\/em><\/strong>only as loan from the State Government to enable the board reserve and safeguard the 400 seats for the intending Jigawa State pilgrims for the 2025 Hajj \u00a0The\u00a0approval\u00a0is\u00a0in\u00a0line\u00a0with\u00a0Council\u2019s\u00a0satisfaction\u00a0with State Pilgrims Board timely refund of <strong>2.2bn <\/strong>loan granted to the Board in 2024 as presented by the Secretary to the State Government.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Council has also ratified the Executive approval granted by His Excellency, Governor of Jigawa State for the release of sum of <strong><em>Two <\/em><\/strong><strong><em>Hundred and Fifty Million Naira (N250,000,000.00) <\/em><\/strong>only as matching fund for the purchase of Ready to Use Therapeutic Foods (RUTF) between Jigawa State Government and UNICEF as part of the Namadi\u2019s administration efforts to combat malnutrition among children in the State as presented by the Ministry of Health.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Signed:<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong><em>Sagir<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>Musa<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>Ahmed,<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Honorable\u00a0Commissioner\u00a0Information,\u00a0Youth,\u00a0Sport\u00a0and\u00a0Culture<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Highlights of the major decisions reached at the State Executive Council meeting held on Tuesday 21ST January, 2025 chaired by His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Jigawa State&nbsp;Malam&nbsp;Umar&nbsp;A.&nbsp;Namadi&nbsp;FCA.
