Namadi FCA.<\/strong><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>The Council has received the report of Staff Verification Exercise<\/strong> and approved the establishment of <strong>Continuous Capture Centre (CCC)<\/strong> at the Office of the Head of Civil Service for the completion of the Statewide Staff Audit Biometric Data Capture and Validation Exercise as part of the <strong>Integrated Payroll and Personnel Management System (IPPMS)<\/strong> for the Jigawa State Government.<br \/>\nThe project resulted in the detection of <strong>6,348 ghost workers<\/strong> and a significant cost saving of averagely <strong>N314,657,342.06 per month<\/strong> and <strong>N3,775,888,809.72 per annum.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>The Council has approved the award of contract for the Rehabilitation\/Maintenance of 3 roads across the state<\/strong>, in line with the present administration&#8217;s efforts to address roads affected during the last rainy season across the State, as presented by the <strong>Ministry of Works and Transport<\/strong>:\n<p>I. <strong>The Andaza \u2013 Gadewa \u2013 Aujara Road<\/strong> in Kiyawa and Jahun LGAs at the contract sum of <strong>N1,214,869,110.00<\/strong> only.<\/p>\n<p>II. <strong>The Unguwar Mani \u2013 Korayel \u2013 Rorau Road<\/strong> in Roni and Gwiwa LGAs at the contract sum of <strong>N2,829,599,036.25<\/strong> only.<\/p>\n<p>III. <strong>The Tsamiya \u2013 Yalwan Damai \u2013 Litinin Tudu Road<\/strong> in Birnin Kudu LGA at the contract sum of <strong>N199,726,404.04<\/strong> only.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<ul>\n<li>As part of His Excellency, the Executive Governor Malam Umar A. Namadi FCA&#8217;s administration efforts to expand <strong>Social Security Coverage<\/strong> in the State, <strong>the Council has approved the release of N254,877,600.00<\/strong> only for the completion of the <strong>Community-Based Targeting Project<\/strong> for integration into the Jigawa State Government <strong>Social Register Data Management Information System<\/strong> to cover communities left out in the Social Register, as presented by the <strong>Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>The State Executive Council has approved the full implementation of the recommendations of the Committee for the Retrieval of Farmlands Allocation<\/strong> across the state by <strong>22 MDAs<\/strong> earlier identified to implement the reports. This approval ensures immediate action on their assigned responsibilities, in line with the Committee\u2019s implementation roadmap recommended for promoting <strong>peaceful co-existence between farmers and herders<\/strong> across the state.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<ul>\n<li>In line with the State plans to establish a <strong>Medical Village<\/strong> for access to world-class healthcare service delivery, <strong>the Council has approved the award of contract<\/strong> for the following, as presented by the <strong>Ministry of Health<\/strong>:\n<p>I. <strong>The Construction of Cardiac Centre<\/strong> at Dutse at a contract sum of <strong>N1,108,964,568.67<\/strong> only.<\/p>\n<p>II. <strong>The Equipping of Diagnostic Centre<\/strong> at Dutse at the contract sum of <strong>N4,555,679,666.44<\/strong> only.<\/p>\n<p>III. <strong>The Construction and Equipping of Cryo-Oxygen Plant<\/strong> at Dutse at the contract sum of <strong>N2,202,161,079.93<\/strong> only.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>The sum of N3,125,000,000.00<\/strong> only was approved as payment of counterpart funds to the <strong>Flour Mills Association of Nigeria<\/strong> for the <strong>emergency procurement of inputs<\/strong> for <strong>10,000 hectares of Wheat Clusters<\/strong> across Jigawa State, as presented by the <strong>Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>The Council has also approved the award of contract for the construction of SUBEB Headquarters<\/strong> \u2013 a <strong>Two-Story Building<\/strong> as a permanent office at the contract sum of <strong>N510,330,765.93<\/strong> only, as presented by the <strong>Ministry of Basic Education.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Signed:<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Sagir Musa Ahmed,<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Honorable Commissioner Information, Youth, Sport and Culture<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Highlights of the major decisions reached at the State Executive Council meeting held on Monday 16th December, 2024, chaired by His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Jigawa State, Malam Umar A.
