{"id":1034,"date":"2024-07-04T15:19:33","date_gmt":"2024-07-04T15:19:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jigawastate.gov.ng\/news\/?p=1034"},"modified":"2024-07-04T15:19:55","modified_gmt":"2024-07-04T15:19:55","slug":"jgsg-inaugurates-taskforce-committee-on-the-recovery-of-empowerment-loan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jigawastate.gov.ng\/news\/2024\/07\/04\/jgsg-inaugurates-taskforce-committee-on-the-recovery-of-empowerment-loan\/","title":{"rendered":"JGSG INAUGURATES TASKFORCE COMMITTEE ON THE RECOVERY OF EMPOWERMENT LOAN"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: revert; color: initial;\">The Jigawa State Government has inaugurated a 7 member Committee for the recovery of Empowerment Loan.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Inaugurating the Committee, the Secretary to the Government of Jigawa State Malam Bala Ibrahim charged members of the Committee to work hard and justify the confidence reposed in them.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He said part of the terms and reference of the Committee is to ascertain the actual number of beneficiaries and total sum of the Loan disbursed; determined and identify the number of defaulters and map out strategies, mode of recovery of the Loan and to implore any possible means to facilitate the recovery of the Loan including Legal action.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Members of the Committee includes:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">1. The Attorney General &#8211; Chairman<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ministry of Justice,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">2. The Hon. Commissioner &#8211; Member<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0 \u00a0 Ministry of Lands<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">3. The Hon. Commissioner &#8211; Member<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Ministry for Special Duties,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">4. The Hon. Commissioner &#8211; Member<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Ministry of Women Affairs &amp; Social Development,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">5. The Executive Chairman &#8211; Member<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Public Complaints and Anti-Corruption Commission,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">6. The Special Adviser &#8211; Member<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Security Matters,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">7.
