FG SENDS DELEGATION TO CONDOLE EMIR OF DUTSE AND GOVERNMENT OF JIGAWA STATE
The Presidency has sent a delegation led by the Chief of Staff to the President, Malam Abba Kyari, to condole the Emir of Dutse Alhaji Nuhu Muhammad Sunusi and the Government and people of Jigawa state over the death of Wazirin Dutse, Air Vice Marshal Mukhtar Muhammad.
President Muhammadu Buhari in a condolence letter personally signed by him expressed his sincere condolences to the state Governor, Emir of Dutse, family and friends, the Government and people of Jigawa State, and Nigerians as a whole, over what he called a heavy loss.
He prayed to Allah to forgive his shortcomings, grant him eternal rest and admit him to Paradise.
Other members of the delegation include the Minister of Interior, Retired General Abdulrahaman Danbazau, Minister of Defence, Retired Brigadier General Mannir Dan Ali, Chief of Air Staff, Air Vice Marshal Abubakar Sadiq, Minister of Education, Malam Adamu Adamu, Minister of State for Aviation Senator Hadi Sirika, Special Adviser to the President on Special Duties, Malam Yau Darazo and Special Assistant on Media Malam Garba Shehu.
The delegation also paid a similar visit to the Emir of Kano, Alhaji Lamido Muhammad Sanusi 11 in company of the Governor of Kano state, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.
The remain of the late Waziri was laid to rest at the Kofar Naisa cemetery in Kano after the funeral prayers at kofar kudu at the Emir of Kano palace on Wednesday around 9pm.
