Barrister Musa Adamu Aliyu (Hon. Commissioner)

Musa Adamu Aliyu was born on 27th December, 1977 in Birnin Kudu Local Government Area of Jigawa State.
His early formal Education began at Central Primary School, Birnin Kudu before he completed his Secondary School Education at Government College Bauchi.
In 2003, he graduated from Bayero University, Kano where he studied Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) and was called to the bar in 2004.
Aliyu is an alumnus of the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria where he obtained his Master's Degree in Law (LL.M) 2011. He also obtained a Ph.D in Law - at the University Utara Malaysia in 2019. .
As a legal practitioner, Aliyu has served in various capacities including being a Pupil Counsel at AKI P.A & Co., Gombe from 2004 -2005 (NYSC), Associate Attorney at A.A Umar & Co., Legal Practitioners, Kano from 2005 to date, Lecturer II at the Jigawa State College of Islamic and Legal Studies, Ringim from 2008 – 2015 and as Lecturer, Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil, Kano 2015 to date.
In October, 2019, he was appointed as the Commissioner of Justice and Attorney General of Jigawa State by Governor Muhammadu Badaru Abubakar.
